Day 1
Invocation
V/ Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of
your faithful
R/ And kindle
in them the fire of your love.
We are witnesses of these things, we and
the Holy Spirit, who is God’s gift to those who obey him. Acts 5: 30-32
Prayer
Gracious Father ,
pour out your Spirit upon your
people,
and grant us a new vision of
your glory,
A new experience of your power
A new consecration to your service,
That your love may grow among us,
And your kingdom come. Amen
Day 2
Invocation
v/ The Spirit of the Lord has
filled the whole world.
R/ And the
whole universe has knowledge of the voice
The Holy Spirit, whom the
Father will send in my name, will teach you all things, and recall to your
memory the things I have told you. Jn. 14.26
Prayer
Spirit of Truth
Whom the world can never grasp,
Touch our hearts
With the shock of your coming;
Fill us with the desire
For your disturbing peace;
And fire us with longing to speak your

Invocation
V/Send forth Your Spirit O Lord

the face of the earth

you have ears to hear, then listen to what the spirit says to the churches. Rev:

Prayer
O God who by the light of your Holy Spirit did teach the hearts of your
faithful people
Grant us by the same Spirit to have a
right judgment in all things
And evermore to rejoice in His holy
comfort, through the merits of Jesus Christ Our Saviour. Amen.

Come, Holy Spirit into my heart
Bestow on me charity with fear
Keep me O Christ from every evil thought
Warm me and illuminate me with Thy sweet
love,
That every pain may seem
light to me.

Invocation
V/ With joy you will draw water

wells of salvation
On the last day, the great
day of the feast, Jesus cried aloud- If anyone is thirsty, come to me and drink ! If you believe in me, streams of living water will

May my soul thirst for Thee, O God the
living God

V/You gave them bread from heaven,

Is not the the cup of Blessing for which we give thanks a
participation in the Blood of Christ ? and is not the Bread which we break, a participation in the
Body of Christ? 1Cor.10.v16
Prayer
Hunger and thirst ,
O Christ, for sight of thee
Came between me and all the feasts of earth.
Give thou thyself the Bread, Thyself the
Wine,
Thou sole provision for the unknown way.
Long hunger wasted the world wanderer,
With sight of thee may he be satisfied.

V/ Lord, pour upon us the Holy Spirit,

R/ The promise of the Father, alleluia
Since you are eager to have
spiritual gifts , try to excel in gifts that build up
the church. I will pray with my spirit, but I will pray with my mind; I will
sing with my spirit, but I will also sing with my mind. 1Cor.14.11,15.
Prayer
God the Holy Spirit
Come in power and bring new life to the
Church
Renew us in his love and service
And enable us to be faithful to Our Lord
and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen .

V/ Send us out in the p0wer of your
spirit
R/ To live and
work to your praise and glory
Keep on loving each other as
brothers and sisters.
Do not forget to entertain
strangers, for by so doing some people have
entertained angels unawares. Heb 13:1.
Prayer
Pour down upon this Diocese
O God ,we Pray,
The Spirit of Unity and Peace;
May we, with Kevin our Bishop
Be filled with a joyful vision of your
glory
Be passionate for the coming of your
kingdom
And share with the stranger the good
news of your love
