Prayer

The Argyll and The Isles prayer
Christ of The Word,
You draw us to yourself
In the Compassion and the Love of God.
You come to us
In the ancient and ever present
Beauty of this Land and its people.
You breathe on us
The strength and confidence of The Spirit.
You renew us
In the vision and holiness
Of the Island Saints.
In the Sacrament of Your Presence,
We open ourselves to live
Your Life amongst others
With generosity and courage.
Come to us Christ of the Word. Amen

Urnuigh Airson Earraghàidheal agus na H-Eileanan
A’ Chriosd, nad Fhacal,
Tha thu gar tarruinn riut fhein
Ann an Iochd agus Gràdh Dhé.
Tha thu tighinn dlùth oirnn
Troimh Bhòidhchead bith-bhuan na Tìr seo
Agus a Shluaigh a tha làthair ann o shean.
Sèid oirnn neart
agus dòchasachd An Spioraid.
Ath-nuadhaich annainn taisbean agus creideamh
nan Naomh Eileanach
Ann an Sàcramaid d’ Fhianais.
Tha sinn gar fosgladh fhein,
Do Dhòigh-beatha a’ leanntain
Le suairceas agus misneachd
A measg chàch.
Thig dlùth oirnn A’ Chriosd an Fhacail. Amen
